TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Welcome to the Volkswagen 2012 Beetle Pre-Order Program. Before you place an order we recommend that you carefully review the information below. The car is fantastic, and we want your pre-order experience to be the same!

PRE-ORDER PROGRAM
Volkswagen of America, Inc. ("VWoA") is excited to offer you an opportunity to pre-order one of a select number and special configuration of our new 2012 Beetle models. By completing the pre-order process you will be reserving one of 600 2012 Beetle - Black Turbo launch edition models available only through this program and described below.

  1. The Pre-Order Program is NOT a vehicle purchase. You will still be required to contact your local Volkswagen dealer to negotiate the price of the vehicle and complete your purchase. The Pre-Order Program does allow VWoA to reserve one of these select vehicles for you, for a limited time only.
  2. Your pre-order does NOT require you to complete the vehicle purchase. While we hope you will do so, if you change your mind before you've entered into a contact with your dealer you may cancel your pre-order reservation by following the process below at REFUNDS.
  3. Your pre-order reservation does NOT guarantee a set price for the vehicle. The MSRP for the 2012 Black Turbo launch edition Beetle available through the Pre-Order Program, including the features described below, is $24,950, excluding taxes, title, transportation, other options, and dealer charges. Your dealer sets the actual price.
  4. As an additional benefit of completing the pre-order process, within 30 days following your completed pre-order you will receive a Welcome Kit. If you do not receive your Welcome Kit within that time period please contact Volkswagen Customer Care at 1-800-822-8987.
  5. Your pre-order reservation will be valid only until September 30, 2011. Before that date you must contact your Volkswagen dealer and complete your purchase. Your dealer will notify VWoA when you have completed your purchase and as soon as possible thereafter the vehicle will be shipped to your dealer for delivery to you. If you do not complete your purchase by the above date, you will be notified that your pre-order has been canceled, your reservation fee will be refunded to you and the next customer on the waiting list will be offered the chance to complete the pre-order and purchase of the vehicle that had been reserved for you.
  6. This Pre-Order Program is designed to allow you to reserve the vehicle described below. VWoA cannot guarantee that your dealer will sell the vehicle to you at all, or at a particular price. If you are unable to complete a purchase through the dealer you selected, please contact Volkswagen Customer Care at 1-800-822-8987. Customers who are unable to complete their purchase will be given a full refund of their pre-order reservation fee of $495 (see REFUND section below).

VEHICLE
The 2012 Beetle Turbo comes standard with: Bluetooth® technology, MDI media device interface, sport cloth seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, 3-color ambient lighting, rear spoiler, red brake calipers, 200 hp 2.0L TSI® engine and dual exhaust tips.

The 2012 Beetle - Black Turbo launch edition model adds: 19 inch wheels, unique side mirror, unique side decals, interior contrast seat stitching, sport suspension and 6-speed DSG® automatic transmission.

PRE-ORDER ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
  1. The Pre-Order Program is available only to individuals residing in the United States who are 18 years of age or older. The Pre-Order Program is not available to businesses or companies.
  2. Pre-order is NOT available if you intend to lease the vehicle. pre-ordered vehicles must be purchased from and delivered through an authorized Volkswagen dealer in the U.S.
  3. Only one reservation per household.
  4. Employees and the family members of Volkswagen Group of America, Inc., its subsidiaries, agencies, and dealers are not eligible to participate in the Pre-Order Program. Volkswagen dealers and their employees are not eligible to place pre-order reservations on behalf of the dealership, dealership employees, or customers.
  5. If VWoA determines that a pre-order reservation has been placed by a non-eligible person or entity, then VWoA reserves the right to cancel the pre-order reservation, refund the reservation, and cancel shipment of the vehicle. The reserved vehicle will then be made available to the next individual on the waiting list.

REFUNDS
Requests for refunds can be made online at www.vw.com/refund. Your reservation will be canceled and the full $495 reservation fee will be credited back to the credit card on file within 10 working days. Please note that all cancellations are final - you lose your place in line. If you have any questions about refunds please call Volkswagen Customer Care at 1-800-822-8987.

PRIVACY
  1. Some of the information collected during your pre-order process will be shared with VWoA, to permit us to confirm your pre-order upon completion of your purchase and to send you your Welcome Kit. That information is subject to VWoA's privacy policy, which is located at www.vw.com/en/privacy/nav/privacy_policy.html. 
  2. Some of the information collected during your pre-order process will be shared with the authorized Volkswagen dealer you selected during that process to allow the dealer to contact you.
  3. Your credit card information has not been shared with VWoA or its authorized dealers.
  4. When you complete your pre-order reservation, your credit card information is shared only with Amazon and is subject to its privacy policy, which is located at www.amazon.com/privacy.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  1. Purchasing a vehicle that was pre-ordered through this program does not alter the new vehicle limited warranties applicable to the vehicle.
  2. While we encourage you to consider financing your purchase through Volkswagen Credit, you are not required to do so. More information about Volkswagen Credit and the services and programs it offers may be found at www.vw.com/en/financial-services.html. Or, talk to your dealer about Volkswagen Credit financing programs such as the First-Time Buyer or College Graduate programs.
